Sobre mim
I’m a Senior Graphic Designer, above anything, VERY CREATIVE!, autonomous, communicative, deadline-oriented, holding a masters degree in Communication Arts from the Lisbon University of Fine Arts.
Also holding a masters degree in Philosophy / Aesthetics from the University of Human Sciences, in Lisbon. During my studies in the Fine Arts University, I worked with several architects as an architecture project designer.
In 1996, after the graduation in Communication Arts, I worked in several design agencies as Graphic Designer and Art Director, developing strategies and creations for Companies such as: BP, Fima, Nestlé, PT Comunications, Medinfar Group, ABB, Galp, Martini, L’oreal, Sony.
In 1997, I was invited to work in the United States as a Senior Graphic Designer for demanding brands and clients as Pfizer, General Dynamics, Niko Mac Computing (Winzip), Groton Utilities, Caruso Music and others. In the United States, always searching for improvements and knowledge, I also studied in Providence, at Rhode Island School of Design.
I returned to Portugal to manage my own company, Sinais de Fumo, in Lisbon, where I worked for over ten years focused in cultural and educational events, environmentalist causes, promoting and designing brands.
Currently I work on my own, at anacamposdesign and www.theblackpete.com, my new project, developing and improving connections between Philosophy and Design in an extreme ethic and authentic way, following the knowledge and examples left by Nietzsche and Wittgenstein.
Believing that life itself is a work of art.
