My name is Edgar Sacadura, i´m a graphic designer, born in 92 in a small city in Portugal. I´m mainly inspired by feelings and dreams, so most of my art has a lot of surrealism and symbolism. I think that art should be more than "self expression" it should be an expression of our world, society, of all the things that surround us and make us humans, art should be a refletion of what make us close to each other in a deeper level, i may say in a subcouncies level. In the beginning i started to draw and paint with mixed media (ballpoint pen, charchoal, acrylic, watercolor, oil....) but i was never truely happy with the limitations of each media, until i started (recently) to explore digital arts, what was a pretty easy transition thanks to my previous technical knowlege in photoshop. I´m very motivated to continue to explore my own style, and contribute, in my way, to the art world.

O meu nome é Edgar Sacadura, sou designer gráfico de profissão, nasci em 92, em Portugal. Recentemente iniciei-me em ilustração digital, onde sou principalmente inspirado pelos sentimentos e sonhos, numa mistura de surrealismo com simbolismo. Penso que a arte deve ser mais que "auto expressão" mas sim uma expressão do nosso mundo, sociedade, custumes... tudo o que nos rodeia e nos faz parte da espécie humana, tudo o que nos une e separa, num nível subconsciente. Tenho vindo a criar um estilo próprio, com materiais tradicionais (acrílicos, óleo, carvão, aguarela...) mas sempre sem estar suficientemente satisfeito com os resultados, até recentemente começar a explorar a pintura digital. Espero que gostem!
